A36 Night Time Closures Between Warminster And Bath

Thursday 16th June 2016:

A36 night time closures (between Warminster and Bath) - week nights 27th June to 19th July 2016.

Skanska will be carrying out resurfacing on the A36 Warminster Road between Church Lane, Monkton Combe (just north of Brassknocker Hill) and the Midford Lane/Church Lane junction at Limpley Stoke, across both northbound and southbound lanes. This will ensure that this section of the A36 remains safe and reliable for drivers for many years to come.

The work, which will be carried out during the night between the hours of 9.00 p.m. – 6.00 p.m., is scheduled to start on Monday 27th June and will continue for 16 nights (week nights only) until Tuesday 19th July 2016.

Due to the type of work taking place and to ensure the safety of both the travelling public and the workforce, it will be necessary to fully close a section of the A36 between Bath and the A350 at Warminster to through traffic, while the night-time work is taking place. Access will be maintained for residents and emergency services, and where applicable, for local businesses.

If you have any queries or comments about the works or would like further information, please contact the Highways England Customer Contact Centre on 0300 123 5000 or by email: info@highwaysengland.co.uk.
