Thelma's Bailey's autobiography In His Strength recalls how she set up an advice line at St. Denys Convent in Warminster, the establishment of the Saint Francis House Trust, her work for the prison ministry, her becoming a member of the Third Order of the Society of St Francis, her appearance on BBC tv's This Is The Day when it was broadcast from her home, her involvement with the registered charity Lamp Lighters, and her pilgrimages to Lourdes.
