A Salute to the 1940's is a variety show
packed full of the stars who
kept the nation
entertained during the dark years of
2 world wars and
of course the Home Guard
of Warmington on Sea were doing their very best
to protect the 'Green and Pleasant' shores
of Great Britain. This shows
consists additionally
of recreations in vision and sound of

Formby, Vera Lynn, The Andrews Sisters,
Frank Sinatra and Gracie Fields,
Marie Lloyd,
Harry Lauder and FLANNINGAN & ALLEN
and a special
recreation of WINDSOR DAVIES
& DON ESTELLE singing 'Whispering
Grass!
