Emergency Services Attend Incident At A Cottage On The Corner Of Imber Road And Fairfield Road, Warminster

Tuesday 1st May 2018:

 The Fire And Rescue Service, Police, and members
of the Gas and Electricity Utility Companies,
attended an incident at a cottage on the corner
of Imber Road and Fairfield Road, Warminster,
on Tuesday 1st May 2018.

 A neighbour said: 
"There was a loud bang followed by a fire."

An  electricity junction box and cables
on the north-facing exterior wall of the house
were melted by fire.

 Fairfield Road, from the entrance to the
Castlemore Retail Park to the junction 
with Imber Road, was closed to traffic,
as was Imber Road from the One Stop shop
to the junction with Boreham Road,
while the incident was dealt with.

The emergency services were called to the 
scene just before 8.00 a.m.
