Luxury
travel and leisure company Natural Retreats held a drop-in session on
Thursday 19th April 2018 at Chapmanslade Village Hall to discuss their plans for the
former Thoulstone Park Golf Course.
Further information drop-in sessions will be
held at the Three Horseshoes, Chapmanslade, on Tuesday 8th May 2018, from 2.00 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. and on Wednesday 9th May 2018, 10.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m.
Information will be on display outling the proposals for the regeneration of the former Thoulstone Park Golf Club. Representatives of Natural Retreats and the design team will be on hand to answer any questions.
David Gough, who will be running the sessions, says: "We look forward to talking to as many
people as possible on the 8th and 9th of May. Feedback received so far has
been collated and is being reviewed. We have also been looking at the
results of the Chapmanslade Village Questionnaire to understand the outcomes and
whether some of these may be incorporated in the proposals."
The
company are hopeful for a complex including accommodation, dining, and
business space to be built on the site and are welcoming the public to
share their views and ideas.
Although
plans are in the early stages, discussions have been held with both
Chapmanslade and Upton Scudamore Parish councils as well as Wiltshire
Council.
