27 Days Left To Give Your Views On Play Areas In Warminster

Wednesday 1st August 2018:

 Queensway Park, Warminster.
Views are sought on 9 play areas in the town.

Wiltshire Council has informed Warminster Town Council that as of April 2018 they will not be carrying out major repairs to any play areas. They will continue to inspect the areas to ensure they are safe but will close equipment if unsafe.

Warminster Town Council already maintains the Lake Pleasure Grounds (Town Park) play area, and now has the opportunity to take over (from Wiltshire Council) the maintenance of up to nine additional play areas around the town.

Warminster Town Council is urging residents to complete an online questionnaire which can be found on the Town Council website and on survey monkey:

Residents can also get a paper copy of the questionnaire from the Town Council offices at Warminster Civic Centre.

The community engagement finishes on 27th August 2018 and the Town Council is keen to get views from as many residents as possible. People don’t have to use the questionnaire as any letters and emails received will also be considered by Councillors before a decision is made.
